I am just about done with the program now and I must say that it is most definitely the best one in the area. They have many different instructors that will show you different ways of learning and you can pick up what works for you. Some patience is required though as you won't learn everything in one or two weeks so just remember that. That being said they will teach you how to drive even if you have never driven a manual transmission vehicle before which was my case. After the 160 hours, I can now name all of the parts on the truck and trailer and drive it when I started off not knowing a single thing. If you are thinking about signing up just do it. Ignore the few bad reviews because if you want to learn they will teach you what you need and then some.

They provided excellent training. Listen and do what the instructors tell you to do and you will pass. They were extremely flexible and able to work around my work schedule. All of the instructors were highly skilled, proficient and very approachable. One on one time was made available as needed. The student to instructor ratio is good. They maintain an excellent training facility and ensure working vehicles are always available. The pre-trip is taught in a way that is structured making excellent results easily achievable. Let me just start by saying if you want to learn how to drive a truck and learn the right way, go to this school. All the instructors are very knowledgeable, and each brings a different perspective to the table. You will get hands-on training here. They set you up for success. I went from knowing nothing about a truck when I started this school to be able to describe every part and licensed to drive it in six short weeks. I can not say enough good things about this school. They do it right and work with you no matter what the situation is. Thank you so much Advantage Driver Training for getting me started in my new career.

My husband enrolled in their 40-hour upgrade program. The teachers were very knowledgeable and interested in helping their students succeed.
